Join us this week for one of our worship services! In the reading from the book of Jonah, God changes his mind about punishing Nineveh for their evil ways, and Jonah is angry about this change; while in the reading from Philippians, Paul writes from prison that God is gracious and merciful, abounding in steadfast love. Then in Matthew’s Gospel reading, Jesus tells a parable about God’s generosity, challenging the common assumption that God rewards people according to what they have earned or deserve. Sunday morning worship begins at 9:00 am. For those who are unable to be with us in person, tune in to 92.5 FM Warroad for our radio worship broadcast. Watch this video for an adorable telling of the story of Jonah:
Together in Christ,
We Reach Up – Worship
Worship and Fellowship are vital to our vision of life together.
Worship, Sunday 9:00 a.m. (and Wednesday 5:30 p.m. during the school year except for during Lent, which is 6:15 p.m.), is supported by instrumentalists including pianists and organists, choir, a worship band, handbells, and opportunities for special music that welcome our children singing. Supporting our worship is the Worship and Music Committee.
Our life together is enriched by numerous opportunities for Fellowship. During the school year, Wednesday evenings offer the opportunity for talking with others in the sitting areas. Sunday mornings finds a coffee pot to gather around after worship.
Frequent meals sponsored by the Women of Zion, youth, men, and the Christian Education Committee are additional events for growing meaningful connections.
