Join us this week for one of our worship services! In the reading from the book of Jonah, God changes his mind about punishing Nineveh for their evil ways, and Jonah is angry about this change; while in the reading from Philippians, Paul writes from prison that God is gracious and merciful, abounding in steadfast love. Then in Matthew’s Gospel reading, Jesus tells a parable about God’s generosity, challenging the common assumption that God rewards people according to what they have earned or deserve. Sunday morning worship begins at 9:00 am. For those who are unable to be with us in person, tune in to 92.5 FM Warroad for our radio worship broadcast. Watch this video for an adorable telling of the story of Jonah:
Choir
Choir provides special music as well as offering support in worship. Everyone with an interest in singing is invited to participate. The choir usually is active during the school year, rehearsing on Sunday mornings.
Handbells
Handbells give worship services and special celebrations added emphasis. A handbell choir meets regularly at different times of the year to provide music for occasional worship services and concerts. Individuals who can read music and count in rhythm are always warmly welcomed to participate!
Worship Band
A band whose members are vocalists or instrumentalists share in the leadership of some of our worship services. Individuals who are strong vocalists, percussionists, or guitar players are invited to try out being in the band.
