Join us this week for one of our worship services! In the reading from the book of Jonah, God changes his mind about punishing Nineveh for their evil ways, and Jonah is angry about this change; while in the reading from Philippians, Paul writes from prison that God is gracious and merciful, abounding in steadfast love. Then in Matthew’s Gospel reading, Jesus tells a parable about God’s generosity, challenging the common assumption that God rewards people according to what they have earned or deserve. Sunday morning worship begins at 9:00 am. For those who are unable to be with us in person, tune in to 92.5 FM Warroad for our radio worship broadcast. Watch this video for an adorable telling of the story of Jonah:
Worship and Communion Services are held at the Warroad Senior Living Center twice a month as an extension of our Sunday worship.
All residents and guests are invited to worship with familiar songs, liturgy, message, communion, and prayers. For those who are limited from being able to attend the group worship, we will provide Holy Communion in residents’ rooms. Individuals may request this by contacting the church office to make prior arrangements.
