Join us for worship at Zion this Sunday, April 28, or Wednesday, May 1. In this week’s reading from the Book of Acts, we hear how Philip, led by the Spirit, encounters an Ethiopian official on the road and uses their encounter to share the gospel with him that led to the Ethiopian being baptized by Philip. Saint John reminds us in his first letter that we love God and others because God first loved us. In the gospel reading, Jesus teaches his disciples on the night he was arrested about those who abide in his word and love bear fruit, for apart from him, they can do nothing. Zion’s worship band will lead this week’s worship services and Jenee Provance will share the message.
