We invite you to join us in worship this Sunday, May 5, or this Wednesday, May 8! We read in the Book of Acts this week that while Peter shares the good news of Jesus with a Gentile soldier and his family, the Holy Spirit comes upon them, recognizing that the Spirit works in the lives of both Jews and Gentiles. The Apostle John writes in his letter of how God’s children believe that Jesus is the Messiah and the keeping of God’s commandment to love captures the world. In John’s gospel, on the night of his arrest, Jesus delivers a final testimony to his disciples to help them in the days ahead by repeating the most important of all his commands, that they love one another.

Prayer Threads Work Day

On Sunday, November 19 there will be a Prayer threads work and fellowship time you can bring your sewing machine your scissors or just your hands for tying it, we have fleece to be trimmed and cut and tied into blankets. We have small pocket prayers to be sewn, and we have yarn supplies for anyone who would like to knit or crochet a full size prayer thread, or just a small pocket prayer.
You are also welcome to bring any project you would like to work on and share in the time of fellowship.
Lunch and snacks will be provided.
