A Blue Christmas Worship Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Thursday, December 7, at 6:30 pm. It is a special service recognizing that Christmas can be a time of loneliness, sorrow, alienation, and sadness for many people.This service offers a way for people to acknowledge those feelings and be surrounded by God’s love through the compassion of others and the comfort of God’s Word to us. Blue Christmas is open to anyone interested. You may want to invite or accompany a friend to this service. All are invited and encouraged to bring pictures of their loved ones who have died to place on the altar for the duration of the service.
