Creative Works is a time where you can work on your own projects, work together on a church project, take a class on a new project, or just sit around and visit or drink a warm beverage. Come and get your creative juices flowing!
It’ll be a fun day at the next Creative Works at Zion on Sunday, November 17!
We’ll be “open” beginning at 10:00 and through the afternoon (until about 4:00). Everyone is welcome to attend.
This month, an optional featured class will be offered beginning at 11:00 am. (Pre-registration for the class is appreciated. Details are below.)
A couple notes:
- If you are going to bring your sewing machine or another powered crafting tool, you may want to bring your own extension cord. Some will be available.
- An iron and ironing board will be available.
- A meal will be provided at 12:30 pm. A free-will offering will be taken to help cover the cost of lunch and beverages. Supper will not be served.
- You are welcome to bring a snack to share with others throughout the day.
November’s Featured Class
Card Making Class
There is an optional CARD MAKING CLASS taught by Bobbi Aker starting at 11:00 am. You can make Christmas, Thanksgiving, and/or all occasion cards. All supplies will be provided.
The cost of the class is $10 and you’ll probably have time to make 6 to 10 cards. Pre-registration by November 12 is appreciated! If you want to sign up for this class, email email@example.com or call the church office at 218-376-1733, ext. 1.
Of course, if you aren’t interested in the class, you are always welcome and encouraged to come to Creative Works and work on your own project. (No pre-registration necessary.) A lunch will be provided (freewill donation), thanks to some great volunteers!
See you on Sunday, November 17!
